Maulana Wahiduddin Khan was invited to speak on the Organ Donation workshop on August 11, 2014 which was organized by the Times of India in association with Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Centre. The other participants were religious leaders of different faiths along with leading doctors and five hundred attendees. Maulana addressed the gathering through internet and spoke about the importance of Organ Donation. He said, in Islam, organ donation is considered a continuous charity i.e. Sadaqa Jariah, and people should pledge to give their organs to help others.
