On 4 November 2016, a seminar was organized in the historic Senate Hall of Calcutta University. Dr Farida Khanam, as the representative from Islam, gave a lecture on the topic: Intercultural Prospects for Global Harmony and Peace. She also delivered speech on The Creation Plan of God in Bishop College on 5 November. The Principal of the college Fr Sunil was also present.
