Centre for Peace and Spirituality (CPS) participated in the Annual Interfaith Iftar Dinner organized jointly by Sarva Dharma Samvaad and Indialogue Foundation. The topic for this year's discussion was 'The Role of Religions in Countering Violence'. The programme was held at Hotel Royal Plaza in New Delhi on 3 July 2016. It was attended by eminent religious scholars, spiritual leaders and journalists.
On the occasion, Mr. Rajat Malhotra read out the message of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan and Ms. Maria Khan spoke about the Islamic teachings on peace and nonviolence. CPS members also distributed copies of the English translation of the Quran to all participants.
