The program of Islamic mission consists of two points – Dawah and Patience. Dawah means conveying the divine message contained in the Quran to all Human beings and Patience means showing willingness to the present condition in all other matters. This is called Status Quoism. This patience is extremely important. It is because in the present world unpleasant situations will keep taking place under the law of nature itself. If makes takes confrontation course in every unpleasant situation then he will have no time to do Dawah work. On the other hand, moderate atmosphere will come to an end between dayee and madu for the performance of calling people to God.
Sacrifice is the most important requisite of Dawah work. This sacrifice is related more to our feelings and emotions than of our lives and property. Repeatedly we are faced with such unpleasant experiences from other people, which creates negative psychology within the dayee and such a psychology leads the dayee to hatred and revenge. If dayee can overcome such negative psychology the desirable environment will be lost which is necessary for the performance of dawah work.
That is why a dayee has to pay the price of his emotions to keep himself to the path of positive psychology. This is an essential condition of Dawah without which no dawah work can be performed.
It is this which is called status-Quoism, another name of which is patience in the terminology of Shariah. Dawah work is carried out with this sacrifice of patience. Where there is no patience there is no dawah.
Patience is, in actual fact, the price of Dawah. It is only after paying the price of patience that the environment for Dawah is created. Patience, in another word, is the same thing which is called customer friendly behaviour in business terminology. A businessman adopts the way of patience unilaterally with his customer. In the same way da’i unilaterally adopts the way of patience with regard to madu. Patience is another name for this madu-friendly behaviour.
We invite you to join the dawah mission.
